If you’re familiar with PHCP, you probably know by now that "Acts of Kindness” isn’t merely a cute catchphrase around here. It’s a statement we boldly stand by, and we ensure that each quarter Team PHCP is actively doing something to give back. This quarter was a special one, which benefited our military and first responders by partnering with Operation Gratitude!

Operation Gratitude is a non-profit organization that helps organize events in which every year, over 250,000 individually addressed care packages are sent to Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines deployed overseas, to their children left behind, and to new recruits, veterans, first responders, wounded heroes and their care givers. Each package varies, but typically contains food, hygiene products, entertainment and handmade items, as well as personal letters of support.

PHCP is all about the personal connection — in addition to packaging mini care bags, our team also wrote personal notes of support to the various recipients of Operation Gratitude. It’s always fun to get the team together for a break from the desk, but when it benefits our fellow citizens who selflessly give back, well it doesn’t get much better than that.
